Yes, the Nigerian Navy recruitment form for 2024 is out. The NN Recruitment Process started on the 29th of March 2023 and will be closed on the 6th of May 2024. This was announced a few days ago on the Navy Recruitment Portal and signed by Navy Secretary.

Now is the right time to apply as the portal will become slow when the stipulated deadline draws closer. 

But you have to know the requirements and criteria to join the Naval force. 

Eligibility Requirements for the Nigerian Navy NNBTS Batch 35 Recruitment in 2024/25

The following is required from every applicant before they are eligible to apply.

  • A prospective applicant must be a Nigerian by birth and have a valid means of identification, such as a National ID card or International passport.
  • Applicant must have an active Bank Verification Number (BVN) obtained from any commercial bank
  • If the applicant is an SSCE holder, the age should be between 18 to 22 years. Tradesmen which are NCE, OND, Nurse/Midwifery, and Diploma holders must be between 18 to 26 years of age.
  • Interested applicants should be at least 1.69m tall for males and 1.6m for female
  • Applicants are expected to have not less than five (5) credits in either 
  • A person with a disability and a married person should not apply
  • WAEC/GCE/NECO or NABTEB. English Language and Mathematics should be included in the five credits and not more than two (2) sitting

How to Apply for Nigerian Navy Recruitment 2024/2025

To apply for the Nigerian Navy Basic Training Course, NNBTC Batch 35, go to the recruitment portal through www.joinnigeriannavy.com

Click on “Click here to apply” as shown below

Carefully through the application guidelines and scroll down to the bottom of the page, click on the blue button “Click here to apply”

Type in your National Identification Number (NIN), email address, and preferred password.

Tips: Passwords must be at least 6 characters and have at least one lowercase (small letters), at least one uppercase (capital letters), and a number. Use a password you can easily remember and write it down in a safe place.

Click on “Register”

After loading, you’ll see a notification on the page “An account has been created”

Now click on “login”

Type in your email address and password, and click on “login”

The application form will appear as shown below.

There are many fields to be filled in on the form. These include Biodata, Next of kin, Primary school, Secondary school, Olevel, Tertiary (Not compulsory), Referees, and preview details.

While filling out the form, ensure to save each section before moving to the next step.

Select your preferred category and fill in all the required details.

Upload relevant documents. (file format should be in jpeg, jpg, or png, 600×600 pixels in dimension and not larger than 100kb in size).

Preview the form and ensure you’re not making any mistakes.

Click on “Submit Application”

Print out a coloured copy of the application form and download guarantor forms, attestation letter, and other downloadable forms.

  2. All fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory, you can not proceed without completing them.
  3. Names and dates of birth must match with what you have on your documents and age declaration
  4. Choose an examination center that is closer to your residence
