- Prospective applicants must be a Nigerian
- He or she must have a valid means of identification like a National Identity Number (NIN), Permanent Voter’s Card(PVC) or International Passport

- The required height for Male applicants is 1.68m and 1.64 for females

A. RMA Cadre
- Road Marshal Assistant II
Applicants for this position must have a minimum of 5 credits in WAEC/NECO/SSCE/GCE or NABTEB, English Language and Mathematics must be included.
2. Road Marshal Assistant III
Applicants applying for this vacant position must possess (3) credits in WAEC/NECO or NABTEB, and one of the credits must be in the English Language.
3. Artisans and Tradesmen
This category is for Artisans and Tradesmen. Positions in this category include Computer Operators, Mechanics, Motorcycle Riders, Drivers, Electricians, Tailors, Instrumentalists, and Plumbers. Interested applicants must have at least 4 passes in WAEC/NECO or NEBTEB. You must have a Trade Test or equivalent professional certifications.
4. Drivers and Riders:
Drivers and Riders must have valid National Driver’s Licence,
Trade Test or equivalent professional certifications will be required

B. MI Cadre
- Marshal Inspector I
Candidates in this category must have the following certifications: RN & RM, Pediatric Nurse, Orthopedic Nurse, Accident & Emergency Nurse, Anesthetic Nurse, and Radiographer. Applicants must obtain these certificates from a recognized institution.
2. Marshal Inspector II
The following qualifications are needed for this position: Double certifications as a Registered Nurse/Midwife (RN/RM), a National Certificate of Education (NCE) in relevant disciplines from a known institution, and a Statement of Result.
3. Marshal Inspector III
An interested applicant is expected to possess certificates of National Diploma, Senior Community Health Extension Workers Certificates (CHEW), Dental Technicians, Medical Laboratory Technicians, and Pharmacy Technicians.
