How to Apply for the Nigerian Police Academy (POLAC) Admission Form

Prospective candidates who wish to enroll in the Nigeria Police Academy have to undergo the following steps:

  • First, visit the Nigeria Police Academy’s official website via www.polac.edu.ng
  • Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Code 
  • The RRR code includes a payment fee of N3,000, which you need to pay through any Nigeria Commercial Bank branch, or you can use your credit card to make the payment.
  • Interested candidates must have sat for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
  • Also, intended applicants must apply through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board portal.
  • Note that interested applicants must select the Police Academy as their university of choice in the JAMB application form.

Nigerian Police Academy Admission Form Requirements

  • Prospective applicants seeking admission into the Nigeria Police Academy must be Nigerian citizens.
  • Applicants must not be less than 18 years of age.
  • Intended candidates’ height must be a minimum of 1.67 meters (5 feet 6 inches) for males,
  • While 1.62 meters (5 feet 4 inches) for females.
  • For male applicants, their chest size must be a minimum of 86 cm (34 inches).
  • Candidates must have completed at least six (6) credits in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) conducted by WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB, including English Language and Mathematics, and subjects relevant to their chosen Academy course.
  • Applicants who meet the JAMB cut-off point will only be admitted.
  • The list of admitted applicants will be published online on the Nigeria Police’s official website or in national newspapers.
