Overview of  NMS Zaria

NMS Zaria Entrance Exams Date 2024, Venue and Requirements 

This is also known as the Nigerian Military School, it is a military Academy that is affiliated with the Armed Forces of Nigeria. 

The school was created under the Nigerian Regiment Training Center of the RWAFF. It was birthed alongside three other schools in British Colonial West Africa which are Gambia, Gold Coast with snow Ghana, And Sierra Leone

The School has its headquarters at Zaria in Kaduna State, Nigeria. This academy was Popularly known as the Boys Company Of Nigeria When it was established in 1954. A boarding school that is made up of different companies include

3. Charlie Company 
4. Delta Company 
5. Echo Company 
6. Foxtrot Company 
7. Golf Company

The school had its current name in 1960 and the first set took its WAEC in 1965. The institution is divided into different wings which include 

1. Headquarters 
2. Military Wing 
3. Education Wing 
4. Boys Battalion 
5. Administrative Company.

Over time the company has produced many senior military officers who have led in private and government sectors.

 NMS Zaria Entrance Exams 

The Nigerian Military School Entrance Examination is an exam given to students who are about to start their Junior Secondary School. This is one of the reasons the school does not accept transfer students. They expect every student to pass the entrance examination to select the best academically sound and active students. 

This examination is being taken in batches on a stipulated date. The exams are being administered on the School premises to only qualified candidates (candidates or applicants who have met the requirements and eligibility)

The Nigerian Military School Entrance examination date is yet to be fixed. This is made known by the school admissions unit. This is because the school is still accepting admission applications. Once the Application process is closed, the school will fix an examination date for all qualified applicants. 

It is important to note that the 2023/2024 Academic session is slated to Start in May. As such candidates need to be updated so as not to be left out on important information. 

This Examination is conducted once a year to select only qualified applicants for admission.

NMS Zaria Entrance Exams Requirements 

If you have applied for the Nigerian Military School Entrance examination or you are yet to apply, here is a list of requirements you need. 

1. The school admits only Male Candidates 
2. All Applying candidates Must be Male 
3. Candidates would be aged 12 and above as at the time of application and not more than 14 years as of the year of entry. 
4. Applying candidates should have completed their primary School Education 
5. All candidates should be medically Fit 
6. Candidates Should have good and moral Character. 
7. All applications must be filled and submitted online using the NMS official portal 
8. Applying candidates are to write the examination at the stipulated date in the designated center as chosen during registration 
9. Candidates coming for the examination should come with the original copy of their Examination Photocard as obtained from the NMS portal. 
10. All candidates who do not have  a photo card will not be allowed to write the examination 
11. Applying candidates are to come to the venue with their Application form and payment acknowledgment slip from the school’s Official Portal. 
12. Only candidates who are shortlisted will be interviewed and undergo physical and Medical Examination 
13. Candidates who are invited for interview are to come with their
